Buffalo, NY’s Techno snob Dane Weisbeck, aka, Idiom has carried the moniker through every corner of Techno space existing from Hardware Jams to Industrial Techno. After multiple EP releases Idiom has had premieres on Italy’s largest underground Techno Premiere Label HARD VISION and Amsterdam’s largest underground Techno Premiere Label TechnoWereld featuring “It’s Not The Algo” from IDM04 EP and the standalone single “Thurible.” When it comes to DJ sets, it is always different and off of the energy given from the crowd. Providing grooves, heavy low end, and tension in every set, Idiom has played from warehouses in Buffalo, NY to intimate clubs in Hamilton, Ontario, CA. Idiom recently had a residency at Photo City Music Hall with a collective of other genre vending artists, leading to standalone shows with 3-4 hour sets of the ‘Black Out Raves with other Techno acts. Currently working on new sounds and ways to approach the culture, Idiom has no plans on slowing down to contribute.
