Turf 'N' Turf

Turf 'N' Turf is the brainchild of ex-farmer and longtime headbanger Snail. This one-man band and performance art project revolves around The Noise Machine- a seven-foot-tall collapsible chicken wire cage which Snail performs inside of. Snail's noise is created by bluesy vocals, electric slide guitar, a stomp box floor, trashy cymbals, scavenged tractor parts and cow bones. Combining this noise with the aesthetics of Mad Max and Americana, Turf 'N' Turf hits audiences with a visceral visual and auditory assault.
